Stamping Process Filtration
The press is one of the most commonly equipment in automobile manufacturing. In the assembly plant, presses process sheet metal into complex geometries parts, such as hoods, fenders or door panels. Stamping machines are typically characterized by hydraulic and process filter applications that affect stamping machine reliability and the stamping surface finish quality.
From a production point of view, stamping is the key stage before electrophoretic coating and painting. Before stamping, the sheet metal is usually pre-cleaned with a felt cleaning roller to remove any solid contaminants (metal, silica, fibers) from its surface. When the particles remaining on the metal plate bear a multi-ton load, they create a "mark" on the stamped surface. These marks often produce quality defects throughout the pre-treatment, electrophoresis, or painting stages. The press exposes the filter system to harsh operating conditions, such as cyclic changes in flow and pressure.
Master Filtration filter cartridges help end users maintain continuous production efficiency and maximize the press operating time.Prewash: Deep filtration efficiency filter cartridge. It ensures coolant cleaning and avoids nozzle clogging in low-pressure cleaning systems. Pre-washing is important to help avoid residual "marks" on the sheet metal.
